Spacious rooms and great breakfast

In the night (Around 10PM) an agent came and opened the door directly, when I asked the reason: He mentioned that he was bringing towels.... At 10PM after we got the room for more than 8 Hours.....he brought towels....It was weird for us. That should be double checked by the managers as the story does not add up.

Air conditioning in room was no good, noise from a barking dog from neighbouring property was a problem.

The hotel is quite far from the city, in a quiet area. It is rather a resort for families. The dinner, for which we've paid extra, was of good quality, unlike the breakfast (included).

The hotel is outdated, requires improvements. The price was quite high for the services offered.

A beautiful hotel hotel that is a perfect stop for a tour around the Tozeur lake. It offers the quality of every El Mourady hotel I've been at in Tunisia. A great meal buffet and good amenities. Perfect for resting a rider between a braap and the other.

Very nice, clean and large pool. Mostly helpful and serviceminded staff. Good cleaning in the hotel room Calm and quiet surroundings. Nice evening and lunch buffet.

The breakfast buffet felt and tasted like discount. They ran out of pastry and baguettes more than once during our stay. The deck chairs by the pool was dirty.

Despite the fixtures and fittings in the rooms being a bit dated and in need of some tlc (remembering that tourism had been hit badly, in recent years) the place is actually quite good and I don't understand the negative comments it has received. Staff were professional and courteous at all times, despite rude guests. Food was very good and everything was very clean. Good value.

Fixtures and fittings need updating in rooms

The Service at the hotel is excellent. There is a huge atrium where you can play billard and where you can get good Drinks. So it´s perfect to relax with your Friends. The Rooms are very tidy and huge.

The buffet of the breakfast could be more varied.

Location ideal as a base and nice views of oasis.

For one of the Mouradi chain I was very disappointed. Room was not clean had to ask for it to be cleaned, rugs were dirty, bed side lockers and table very dusty. Food was sub standard with breakfast being very poor. Paid for a 4 star felt more like a 2 star! Would not recommend for the price!

The waiters at the hotel's restaurant were very friendly, polite and extremely helpful. 2 of the restaurant staff named Sofien and Atef went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Also Mustapha one of the reception staff was extremely nice and helpful.

What they showed on Booking.com and what they offered us when we arrived are completely different, we chose the quadruple room which was described as having a large double bed and two single beds, but they put us in a room with two single beds and a small double SOFA BED. Upon complaining to the reception they tried to convince us to pay for a second room, I told them that I will not be paying for a second room and that if it was the only solution they had then they should give us the second room free of charge after a lengthy discussion they suggested that they could give us a different room that had a large double bed and then put two extra single beds, in the end the room was crammed with beds and had very little room to move around... but reluctantly we had to accept this offer. My family and I were not happy with this arrangement and we strongly believe that El Mouradi Tozeur should be reviewed by Booking.com to determine what their rooms are like so that other members don't have to go through what we went through. We believe that their strategy is to trapp people into paying for an extra room. Not fair at all, I speak fluent Arabic and found very difficult to deal with the receptionist so I can't imagine how much harder it would be for a non Arabic speaker.

Nothing good to stand out

Very poor value. Service was horrible. We were woken up at 1.40am by the reception clerk because "he thought he had left his badge in our room". We had dinner included and it closed at 9pm with no notice whatsover. We couldnt even recover the money. Breakfast was very poor, so maybe it was a good thing that we couldnt have dinner! Wifi is very bad in the rooms.
